Ninety Nine Years and One to Go

Ninety nine years ago, this coming July, Lord Baden Powell held the first Wood Badge course.  In just one year, I’ll have the honor of overseeing the current Wood Badge course here in the Anthony Wayne Area Council.  This website will be used to share information on the upcoming course, as well as provide a location to host several tools we’ll use leading up to, during and after the course.  Both participant and staff registration forms will be up soon.  Check back often.  I’ll try to share some of the plans as we get closer as well as interesting tidbits I learn as study this course closer than I have done in my previous experiences in Wood Badge.

Yours in Scouting,

Perry Harris

  1. You may want to update the following FAQ item for c6-157-19:
Q: Why do I want to register early?
A: Enrollment is limited to the first 48 participants that register and fully pay their course fees. Since this is the 100th Anniversary Year for AWAC, it is expected that the course will fill early.
